Concordia students and mentors engaged in summer research and creative scholarship are part of a LEARNING COMMUNITY that includes skill-building workshops, online ethics and safety training, vocation support, networking, and social activities.
WORKSHOPS: Skill-building and vocation workshops for students will be held from 12:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m. in ISC 201 on Tuesdays from 30 May through 18 July. Students working off campus may participate virtually via Zoom.
ONLINE TRAINING: All URSCA scholars are required to complete at least three CITI training courses.
PEAK: Students may earn a PEAK for their URSCA work and program participation by completing a few additional assignments.
SOCIAL TIME: Mentors and students are invited to bring their lunch to the ISC Commons on Wednesdays at noon for informal project sharing. In addition, a variety of social activities will be available to students and mentors throughout the summer.
