Art | Olin 207
Between Art History and Art Practice
Each year for COSS we invite an alum of the art department to give a talk to our students about their path after Concordia and how they used their training in the department in either their careers or their further studies. Just before lunch during COSS, the department meets in the gallery to open the Senior Art Exhibition. After a brief ceremony we meet in the Drawing Studio to have a departmental lunch and to watch a lecture from our invited speaker. This has been a great experience for our students as they get to hear directly how someone used their education from Concordia. It is an extremely well-attended event with lots of rich discussion and really shows the multitude of paths open to our students
