Lessons from the Field
Field placement and seminar are considered the capstone experience for a social work major. The process of securing a placement and navigating the professional waters of an agency are both challenging and rewarding. This transformative semester offers great opportunity for growth professionally and personally. Senior Social Work students currently engaged in their field placement will present on lessons they learned through the process of placement exploration, the incorporation of the core curriculum in their agency setting, their personal and professional growth, as well as the transition from student to professional roles. Undergraduate social work majors are encouraged to attend to gain understanding of this capstone experience.

What Can Languages Do for You?
Please join faculty from Chinese, French, German, and Spanish of the Department of World Languages and Cultures (WLC) for an open-door conversation about languages and what one might be able to door with languages after Concordia. This session is sponsored jointly by WLC and the following WLC chapters of national language honor societies: Pi Delta Phi in French, Delta Phi Alpha in German, and Sigma Delta Pi in Spanish.
