SnackChats

In the News SnackChats are opportunities for students and mentors to discuss issues central to their projects with another team outside their research focus.

How SnackChats Work: Student-mentor teams are paired (see list below). Each team selects a news article or other contemporary feature related in some way to the central issue, question, or problem addressed by their summer research project. Paired teams send each other their reading selections in advance and arrange a time to meet (e.g. over brown-bag lunch) to discuss their projects in context of the readings.

PEAK REQUIREMENT: Write a reflection on the SnackChat readings and group discussion.
