Cobbers @ Scripps Research

Scripps Research, located in La Jolla, California and Jupiter, Florida, is a premier research institution dedicated to solving complex biomedical challenges through cutting edge approaches. Scripps offers competitive summer undergraduate research internships (SURF and REU), and receives applications from students across the nation.

Each year, Concordia conducts an internal application process for one guaranteed summer internship position at Scripps. There is no limit to the number of Concordia students who can apply to Scripps through the general pool.

In addition to summer internships, Scripps also offers academic-year research opportunities for undergraduates. Students may earn Concordia credits for their research in this program. Email research@cord.edu for more information.

ELIGIBILITY: Highly motivated and scientifically curious students, particularly those in their early years of undergraduate study in any science discipline, are encouraged to apply for the summer internship.
